Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Job Duties:

  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance tasks for company and managed aircraft, including scheduled inspections, discrepancies, and unscheduled repairs.​
  • Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, company repair station/maintenance manuals, and safety policies.​
  • Review and sign off work orders, logbook entries, and maintenance records, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and proper documentation for each aircraft.​
  • Coordinate closely with Flight Operations, Dispatch, and Charter Sales to align maintenance schedules with trip requirements, minimize downtime, and support AOG recovery.​
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to technicians on complex maintenance issues, systems faults, and return-to-service decisions.​
  • Oversee parts, tooling, and materials needs by initiating requisitions, tracking incoming parts, and ensuring proper handling, storage, and control.​
  • Lead daily production/shift meetings to review aircraft status, upcoming work, manpower allocation, and safety or quality topics.​
  • Enforce hangar and ramp safety practices, including use of PPE, proper aircraft towing and jacking procedures, and adherence to environmental and hazmat requirements.​
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff, support onboarding of new hires, and identify training needs on aircraft types and company procedures.​
  • Support customer interface by communicating maintenance status, findings, and projected completion times to charter/management clients as needed.
 

Qualifications Needed:

  • Associate’s degree in Aircraft Maintenance with 12 months training
  • 2 years experience as Aircraft Mechanic
  • With FAA Aircraft Mechanic & Powerplant (A&P) license certificate
